Der Grüne Salon der Volksbühne am Rosa-Luxemburg-Platz wird unter der Kuration des RomaTrial e.V.mit einem interdisziplinären, politisch-progressiven Programm von Künstler*innen und Aktivist*innen aus den Communities Berliner Roma* und Sinti* bespielt. Zudem ist er Bühne für Kollektive und Kreativschaffende aus dem Berliner, deutschsprachigen und internationalen Raum, deren Lebensrealitäten von Rassismus, Antisemitismus, Diskriminierung und Marginalisierung durch die weiße Dominanzgesellschaft geprägt ist. Mit ihnen (er)gründet RomaTrial e.V. im Grünen Salon die Vision einer Zukunftsgesellschaft. Einer Gesellschaft, in der die Existenzen, (Lebens-)Wirklichkeiten und Perspektiven aller Menschen vom gleichen Wert sind. Eine Zukunft, in der Roma* und Sinti* keine problematisierten Phänomene mehr sind, sondern Gastgeber*innen und Gestalter*innen. Der Grüne Salon ist ein Ort des Schutzes, des Empowerments, der Konfrontation, der Community, des Kampfes, ein Ort fürs Experimentieren, ein Labor für die Utopie.

Grüner Salon at the Volksbühne am Rosa-Luxemburg-Platz is a space for an interdisciplinary, politically progressive program of artists and activists from Berlin's Roma and Sinti communities, curated and run by the association RomaTrial. It is also a stage for collectives and creative artists from the Berlin, German-speaking and international areas whose realities of life are marked by racism, anti-Semitism, discrimination and marginalization by the white dominant society. With them, RomaTrial explores and designs the vision of a future society in the Grüner Salon. A society in which the life realities, drafts of existence and identity and perspectives of all people are of equal esteem, rightfulness and truthfulness. A future in which Roma, Sinti, marginalized and migrantized people are no longer problematized phenomena, but tone-setting hosts and creators. Grüner Salon is a space of protection, empowerment, confrontation, community, struggle, experimentation, a laboratory of utopia.
